Hello, Thank you for your report. We are currently investigating reported issues with desktop PC configurations after the recent Windows Update. In the meantime, players should note that laptop configurations are not officially supported, and players may experience a variety of issues when attempting to player Destiny 2 on a laptop PC. Any potential resolution of this specific issue may not result in a blanketing solution for laptop fullscreen issues.

Are you investigating random crashes with the "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." error message. Only with your game I have those crashes with this error message???

I run the game on a laptop and it worked fine for me up until the recent Windows 10 update. Probably an issue related to Windows and the game. I am also having a major issue where I get nothing but a black screen while the game runs normally, just without graphics. Please fix immediately, I spent $50... CPU: Intel Core-i5 7300HQ 2.8 GHz GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB VRAM RAM: 8 GB

  • BNG - I'm sorry, but that response is a load of garbage. How on earth can you claim that laptop configurations aren't officially supported, but desktops are? That is a good percentage of the people who play this game! The Windows Update messed up my computer royally for D2 - as I mentioned earlier, it would load the music, but display a black screen. Thusfar the ONLY way that I've been able to get around this is to rollback the Windows 10 April 30th update. However, I can only delay it from hitting my computer for so long, since it is an automatically downloaded update. What are we supposed to do? GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M (Driver Version: 397.31) CPU: Intel (R) Core i7-6820HK CPU @2.7 GHz Ram: 16 G ISSUE: Black screen with intro music playing when starting up Destiny 2. CAUSE: Related to Last update to Windows 10 Update (Windows 10, version 1803) RECREATION STEPS: Don't update to Windows 10 version 1803 yet PS: I was unable to roll back my OS to previous build. So I'm stuck on current OS build. #bungie

  • I know, are they serious? They do realize that there are laptops known as Gaming Laptops? That is one heck of a CYA response. I've got a similar rig to you I think: i7-6820 HK GTX 1080 with 8 G ram (of which D2 uses about 2.9) 32 G ram 1 TB SSD and 1 TB HDD Thus far D2 has been running very smooth. I wonder what issues I should expect on my laptop that would not be noticed on a desktop?
