Just wanted to add have same sort of issue on my Laptop.

Had a go at driver roll back to last version of Nvidia drivers and settings but under no circumstance could I get anything another than a blank screen in any window mode, got audio every time thou.
Restoring my system prior to the April 30th Update also sorted me out for now, other games were fine on the 30th update just FYI.

Same here with an MSI raider using a gtx 1070 problem began after the 1803 windows update, black screen , sound in the background , still no solution, the only workaround is to play on a second monitor
