YES. After Windows update to ver. 1803 both mine and my wife's game not working in fullscreen anymore (PC with Gtx1080). When I try to change to fullscreen it just reverts back to windowed mode.
Windowed fullscreen indeed is the closest you can get, but for obvious reasons this is not an acceptable solution.
Anyone else with this problem? Bungie, any data or comment on this?

Yes no fullscreen no HDR therefore. Same issue, click fullscreen it instantly reverts to fullscreen windowed. happened since update 397.31 latest nvidia drivers MSI gtx 1080 Fx 6300 asus M5A97 r2.0 16gb ram Gskill 14900 ddr3 windows 10 x64 home 1803 Logitech G series peripherals Acer Predator XB271HUa monitor 2560X1440@144hz

Fullscreen issue still not resolved with either latest Destiny 2 PC patch or nvidia driver released today still refuses to switch to fullscreen mode

Having the same problem... no fix yet? Destiny version 1.2.1.1 and Nvidia Driver 398.11 - GTX 1070 here...
