10 year plan? um they made year 4 a totally different game than the previous 3 years and you claim they actually have a plan of how this shit show ends? Its one smoke and mirrors give and take after another.
So your gonna try and say we all paid $100 and decided not to play because of a rumor it sucked ass? once again that statement has zero common sense in it.
The toxicity was caused and is kept alive by BUNGIE . we all were having fun with friends on D1 , even though the game never made making friends or commucating or finding a group easy. We all had huge friends lists from years of playing on LFG and the 100 etc.
DESTINY IS BAD, the masses have spoken . the numbers dont lie. They arnt just taking a break . Most of us are done with this hamster wheel of pretend content and we are trying. Your not in the majority with any of your opinions. The majority left with any chance of a Bungie come back about 7 months ago. A whole year to fix a game and the fix was to spoon feed you a game you already paid for before?

On the contrary it is you who are delusional. Whatever your feelings on the "10 year plan" is, it is a fact that the story of D2 is a continuation from D1. So you can legitimately say this is still part of their plan. It doesn't mean they were going to be making content for the same game for 10 years. That is plain stupid. If you think for 1 second that D1 was thriving at the end of Y3 you've a very limited memory or high. The numbers before D2 was released were a fraction of what they were and plummeting. The toxicity on this forum is caused by your sheep mentality. If any of your favourite streamers complain about something you all start to hate it. I've read so much about the lack of grimoire making this game shallow and I'll bet 90% of complainers read less than 30 grimoire cards. D1 forums was constantly complaining about op guns and bad RNG rolls on their guns. They take that out and the complaints start about static rolls. You guys seem intent on bashing anyone who likes this game and blame everyone else and can't seem to get your head around the fact that games have moved on. Playing Destiny 7 days a week for 5 hours per day isn't a thing for most people any more. PUBG, Fortnite etc came around.

BLAH BLAH BLAH, it's getting there. Bungie know they -blam!-ed up, and they're trying to right the ship. People like you who incessantly keep complaining "DESTINY IS BAD" serve no purpose but to be unnecessary noise. WE KNOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER...but it wasn't. Deal with it. Bungie is taking community feedback and slowly building the game it should have been at launch. It is what it is and bitching about it like a scorned school girl isn't changing anything aside from making you look like a bitch. Suck it up, buttercup.

Well, they nearly got there at the end of Destiny. Then they released Destiny 2. If D2 were the first game it would have been a different story. But many went thru the first game, doing just what you wrote, waited for Bungie to fix it up, which they in the end managed quite well. Because of that, people expected D2 to continue from that state. People have every right to be upset. Bungie made practically every wrong turn there was with D2. In my opinion, the better option would have been expanding on D1. Imagine having all D1 content plus D2 content in one game...

I don't like my vault being destroyed and all my stuff being gone (so are the other players?). If they did that then D1 will definitely be dead.. Only if you can change the game mode from D1 to D2 if you'd like to continue like, you can switch maps and content (If you understand what I mean) or if that was what you're trying to tell me..

What I mean is, I would rather have seen a gamesize expansion on D1 than the "leave all we've done until now behind" chaos D2 brought. And you are right, then they would have to go with another story. Which in the end still would have been better, the D2 story aint that good anyway.
