It baffles me actually that someone Deej said is “THE loremaster” wasn’t invited... the Lore has some Incredible storytelling going on, but the game missions and cutscenes have NEVER reached this caliber of tale. Why oh why, was the top of maybe 2 or 3 authorities on the subject not invited for Lore feedback... the game needs to hit a home run on storytelling very soon. D2 was world’s better than D1... but compared to the backstories in the grims... it’s not even close. Especially after Bungie employees have been making comments that contradict or downplay the story elements and now major voices who have been a boon for destiny aren’t part of the feedback discussion? It concerns me that story is going to take a back seat when it could easily become the most enjoyable part of the franchise... case and point, no one played halo for the loot... Bc there was none. People do still play great games for great stories... I want the gameplay systems fixed ABSOLUTELY, but story shouldn’t be an afterthought...
