This kind of depends on your situation. The six shot can be really nice for groups of normal enemies, the ability to have extra precision damage from the other tree makes far shorter work of bigger bosses especially when using celestial. I kind of wish you could switch between the two abilities on the fly without using your super because they have two kind of distinct uses.

Well that's the point isn't it? To gain proficiency in one area you have to sacrifice proficiency in another. Almost every super has a "This one is better for groups" and a "This one is better for single target" version.
