Im just gonna come out an say it i hated d1 voidwalkers not only were the base melee on warlocks op but the energy drain melee did to many things at once just by getting a melee hit. And dont get me started on axion bolts

  • And strikers and nightstalkers weren't just as annoying? Lol ok. You could at least slide under an axion bolt. Voidwalkers had plenty of counters. It worked as intended. If you're a good player it allowed you to wreck if you were bad it didn't carry you. It wasn't possible. A one shot super. A grenade you can slide under and a melee that wiffed more than Titans with t rex arms after Titans got a melee range buff. This absolutely was my main subclass and I know I rarely died while playing a voidwalker unless it was by a gun. Playing to understand weakness of a subclass is a good way to learn to counter

  • Fisrt yes striker were annoying same With nighstalkers but voidwalker melee was canser first it gave you a damage buff from 122 to 135 it can restore heath on melee hit it restores grenade energy and the melee range on warlocks were op Axion botls were annoying because of the scan radious Not to mention that voidwalkers have a 90% chanse of winning every melee fight As for it not carrying people with out skill thats a lie it does because i bearly play voidwalker in d1 and everytime i use it i would get a very high kd higher than i would with my main subclass. All i did was throw axion and rush with my melee or with my eyasluna and bam i get a kill.

  • So what you're saying is you didn't use a primary to win most of your engagements. You exasperated the problem that most people had with d1 which was ability spam. And again you could slide underneath an axion bolt. The scan radius is irrelevant if you basically render the grenade useless on ANY CLASS. I don't know any good players that had issues with axion bolts. Must have been a BK thing. Having the weakest melee damage and then having the most range is balanced. Idk why people keep getting this whole thing mixed. Stormcallers melee with amplitude WITHOUT feedback proc does 122 damage if you didn't know.
