If I mute all the negative people...

Will I only hear from the positive folks in the community? Serious question from anyone who has tried to mute all the negative users. Does the forums’ quality improve? Culture is super important. And I think that the negativity in this culture has had an impact on my perception/reflection of this game in the past. I think Destiny is really fun. But many players in the community are not. Many are entitled. Will the mute/block options erase these players from my experience within the Destiny app? I’d like to only hear from positive users.

  • The problem would be the people you define as negative are all diffetent people with different views. Some might appear positive on some subjects and appear negative on others. It's down to an individuals perception if its negative or not. I see the people who reply to post with 'just leave the game if you dont like it' just as negative as someone who is titles a post 'D2 Sucks'. There are people at both extremes of the spectrum that have negative impacts on the game and community. The problem is more down to how this forum works, the vast majority of people only ever look at the trending posts, as its the default forum page. Most the threads that make it there are started by people at the extremes of the spectrum with polarizing views that get a lot of replies. If you go to the latest posts there's a lot of threads with reasonable disscussions, good ideas and come across positive whether they a praising or being critical.
