Way of the Sharpshooter: Everything you need to know to make the perfect shot

Way of the Sharpshooter is path for the Gunslinger that focuses primarily on getting precision hits on your enemies. With your guns, with your Throwing Knife, and with your Super. This guide will only cover abilities unique to the Way of the Sharpshooter and not normal Hunter abilities like Dodges or Grenades. Let's go over the ability nodes in the order in which they would be unlocked. + Knife Juggler - Critical kills with your Throwing Knife instantly recharge the ability. That's it really. Pretty self-explanatory. Let's not dwell on it. + Practice Makes Perfect - Every precision hit increases the base recharge rate of your super, stacking up to three times. This affects only your base recharge and has no affect on super energy gained from kills or Orbs of Light. These stacks last for two seconds before resetting to zero. Each precision hit after gaining three stacks simply resets the duration. Precision damage from any source, being your guns, melee, or even your super itself can activate this effect. "False precision" damage such as the yellow numbers that appear from debuffs like Shadowshot or buffs like Foetracer don't count. • With a x1 stack your base super recharge rate increases by 1.4x. This effectively removes 0.8 seconds from your recharge for every 2 seconds it is active. • With a x2 stack your base super recharge rate increases by 1.75x. This effectively removes 1.5 seconds from your recharge for every 2 seconds it is active. • With a x3 stack your base super recharge rate increases by 2.5x. This effectively removes 3 seconds from your recharge for every 2 seconds it is active. + Crowd Pleaser - Enables Golden Gun to deal precision damage. Precision hits with Golden Gun deal 4x damage. Every precision hit with Golden Gun will also spawn two Orbs of Light for your teammates. This is in addition to any orbs spawned from kills. This follows the same rules as previous about "false precisions". + Line 'em Up - Every precision hit with Golden Gun increase its damage and its duration. This damage buff stacks multiplicatively with Crowd Pleaser. • With a x1 stack your damage increases by 1.22x and adds 2.5 seconds to the duration of your super. This brings the total duration to 10.5 seconds. (The default duration is 8 seconds). • With a x2 stack your damage increases by 1.44x and adds another 2.5 seconds to the duration of your super. This brings the total duration to 13 seconds. Fun Facts • Golden Gun uses a different weapon model depending on which ability path you take. Way of the Sharpshooter more closely resembles Eyasluna from D1. (image) • Golden Gun deals 1.18x more base damage while using Way of the Sharpshooter compared to Way of the Outlaw. As a result Way of the Sharpshooter has a 2.8x higher damage potential. • Using the exotic Celestial Nighthawk increases Golden Gun's maximum damage output by 1.6x compared to Line 'em Up's maximum damage output.

 •
Placing the circle of a hand cannon at least partly on the enemy head while firing from the hip will cause magnetism to make the first headshot for you. Aiming in for the second shot counteracts the bloom normally attributed to successive fire while sticky aim assist counteracts recoil by pulling aim to target. Mid to low rare of fire hand cannon for best results. Little to no significant effect on last word.
Feel free to see if this still works, been years since testing and I didn't think to for the free trial. Couldn't stand that there was no option to turn off aim assist in either of these games. So I figured that if they were so insistent on holding my hand through what they kept wanting me to consider "competitive," I was going to wear that hand like a glove.
