I think the solution going forward is to base your future PVE content difficulty on the best capable weapons in the game. Make it a CHALLENGE for us to go through PVE strikes, NFs, Raids if we don't have capable weapons. While you're at it, give us Dynamic Armor Mods that grant special perks to our current subclass since you'd be making things a bit more difficult for us.

Dynamic Armor Mod Perks (FOR PVE ONLY):
Class: Warlock
Subclass: Voidwalker
Dynamic Armor Mod (ARMS ONLY): Necromance
- 1 Mobility
- 1 Regen
Fuse kinetic ammo with void power (Not energy). Precision kills summon the dead as an ally. Stacks 3 times. Enemies return with half health but deal 2 times the damage. Lasts 15 seconds (can continue for up to 90 seconds if you continue to get precision kills)
Cool down 3 minutes
Double tap Reload button to activate.

Dynamic Armor Mod (CHEST ONLY): Rupture
+1 Resilence
- 1 Recovery
Charge your melee with Arc Power. Slam your fist into an enemy, sending his flying charged corpse 10 meters in front of you damaging enemies within its path. Enemies killed explode in Arc power. (Majors hit by this lose their shields instantly)
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Hold down Melee button and release to activate.

Charge your kinetic weapon with Flame Power. Precision shots prime enemies to explode when killed. Enemies caught within the explosion take damage and burn for 6 seconds.

These are just some examples of what we could potentially do. I think the stat buff and or negation should apply to guardians in PVE as well as PVP that way players are incentivized to make PVE builds and PVP builds separate. (increases the grind) Stats for DAMs should be rollable and random when obtained.
