I personally didn't like fighting rngesus twice once to get the weapon and twice to get the perk roll i wanted it was just irritating it was an artificial grind designed to extend the life of the game

I agree with you here but I didn't grind for weapons I just used what I had. Many players loved the random roll grind even though it was the most generic grind in Destiny history. I'd say let them have it in the monthly events, random rolls on faction rally and Iron bannor weapons and re-rolls on iron bannor weapons only.
