  • I'm having trouble with this issue as well, and xbox.com sees to not be working correctly. Can i get some more help on this topic?

  • Just found this thread. I’ve tried clearing the cache, all the above you listed. It still doesn’t work for me however. Any other ideas?

    Hello I'm having a similar problem except I try to link the wrong account and it now has the "authentication error" screen even if I want to link a different xbox account it won't let me what should I do? also i have a video as proof.

  • You may want to try the following: - Clear your browser's cookies and cache and try again - Open an incognito private window and try again - Use another browser and try again You'll have to keep trying until it authenticates.

  • I found a way that I was able to get around the problem. I linked my Battle.net to my Microsoft account, and when signed in to my Battle.net, a was able to switch to my Xbox account from the settings.
