Many more players have consoles. This information has no relevance since it's only PC.

Wasn't the point. The point is the scale of reference, or the perspective in general. Let's say for example Rocket League has twice the PC numbers on both consoles. That'd be 285k (across all platforms) daily. Is that a "dead game"? No, you'd be insane to make said claim. Yet here we are with 300k or so and people saying it's "dead". lol Perspective is important. Is it the #1 game out there like D1 used to be? No. Has the playerbase declined drastically? Yes. But does that support the narrative of "dead game" that so many people wish to pander? Nope.
