First of all, snipers aren't meant to be up front and tanking damage or in the front lines. Snipers should be in the back picking off enemies a safe distance away. Also it's personal preference.

We shouldn't be able to through space magic out our hands and double or even triple jump! Reality doesn't have a place here!

I’m no sniper fan but still think that that was the sweetest aspect of D1’s loadout. Primaries were your up-close-and-personal. Heavies were your wreck-stuff. Specials were for other circumstances. For example, your long-range weapons.

That goes for scouts as well it’s how all their shitty maps are made with CQC in mind yet hey let’s put some scouts and sniper rifles that suck for that. At least in D1 we had combined arms... sometimes

yet none of the pvp maps have any distance to actually use a sniper at sniper range. Virtually none of the PVE maps have this distance easier, plus uses heavy ammo, so you are very limited to ammo.

Bungie sure wants you to use them close up. Look at the map layouts.
