You going to source that "Bungie quote" or just expect everyone to believe you?

I added it

Firstly, I don't see why you posted a link to an angry YouTube rant rather than just the Reddit post. Reading through said Reddit post I see as I suspected that that quote never happened.
-
Don’t be ignorant. Words are words. He said that making content is too hard. I don’t care if it is DLC, the main game, or updates. What was said basically sums up this whole experience with everyone. Don’t be ignorant and twist this into a different context when the result is the same. By the way, you are aware of the Reddit post, according to your other posts, don’t be ignorant when you know damn well what the information mentioned. You simply proved our point that at this point in time, essentially everyone knows what was said.
-
Don’t be ignorant. Words are words. He said that making content is too hard.
Words are words. And those aren't the words said. So it's a misquote, among the many others circulated around here.
-
Mine is not a quote, moron, but good attempt. Ignorance at it’s finest. 😒 This is a pointless conversation. You know the point, you’re just dancing around it. Want to know what matters? In the end, the player count shows more than we ever could debate. That is all the evidence you will need in the end.
-
This is a pointless conversation.
See, I knew we could agree on something. 😄
-
-
But isn't them saying "content is hard to make in general so we will drop feed content" essentially the same thing as "Making content is too hard " aren't you just playing at semantics at that point?
-
No. The latter implies it's a cope out. What they are saying is that they can't roll out big DLCs fast enough to meet demand so they instead moved focus to smaller, more frequent, additions and let Microtransactions pay for it.
-
Hmm but your words and the reality of destiny 2 don't add up. I still believe it's the latter in this case unfortunately. But that being said we are getting off topic here.
-
Well intention and reality aren't always the same. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
So if u tell the truth but can't prove it as fact, does it become a lie? Also can a lie become truth if one tries hard enough to make it so? These questions are the current state of destiny . I'd say taking a break while bungie figures that out would be the healthier thing to do.
-
It becomes a theory. Newtonian physics didn't become a lie because the theory of relativity emerged. Yes and no. False statements can spread like wildfire and become a "truth" to some. It never becomes a truth in reality because it was always a "lie."

Drip feed. Dan auto correct

I thought it was widely known to be honest. Devs giving up on their own potential seems like a big deal to me. A sad deal, but a big one.
-
Look, I love and prefer citations too but this is an exception😂. I’m fairly certain that everyone has already heard about that quote if they patrol the forums. Plus a little research didn’t hurt anyone. I can’t believe I mentioned what I mentioned because I am normally demanding citations too lol. This is just widespread knowledge that everyone already knows though. You probably can just type it into YouTube and it will generate it for you. I know YouTube is not that credible, but neither is this forum lol.
-
This is just widespread knowledge that everyone already knows though.
That's his point. Nobody at Bungie ever said that, just like nobody at Bungie ever said "see those mountains over there". This community has a bad habit of spreading misinformed sound bites to fit their "Bungie is evil" narrative.
-
Are you really that naive and lazy? Really?
-
The person did say that you moron. Just because you are ignorant or do not keep up with Bungie does not make it untrue. Don’t be lazy. Look it up.
-
Feel free to post a link. I'll give you forever.
-
Flag me if you want, this forum and game is basically dead right now. I’m trying to be optimistic but people like you make it so damn difficult. You love the game, fine, more power to you. But don’t be ignorant to the issues that are plaguing the community and pretend nothing happened. I’m just tired of this pointless conversation with blind fanboys and fangirls, especially when they are ignorant. It is beyond frustrating.
-
First, I never said I love the game. You've played it more than I have. Second, Jason Schreier isn't a Bungie employee. For a guy that claims to demand citations, I'm surprised you linked an interview with him when Zelrons clearly asked for a Bungie quote.
-
Besides, if you want to play the game of proof and evidence, show me a list of all the Bungie employees. Please ensure the source is credible. We need to know every single employee, too. Let’s observe this list since you seem to know everyone that literally works at Bungie. Like you mentioned, don’t worry, we have all the time in the world. But alas, you can not even discover a simple Reddit quote. 🧐 This is a pointless conversation.
-
Look it up, it is on Reddit. Do you still need me to hold your hand? You’re a big girl or boy, correct? Pretend all you want but it simply is only proving your ignorance. You can sugar coat his words all you desire, but in the end, words are words. You can think what you want about sources but this is not science or academia; it does not need to be peer-reviewed. You’re on a gaming forum. About a dead game and almost a dead forum. This is not credible site, even in the slightest extent. Don’t make this more difficult than it needs to be because it does not need to be this difficult. Ignorance is not a good trait and it doesn’t look good on you, or anyone.
-
What do you mean, "still"? You never held my hand in the first place. You said a Bungie employee said making content is too hard, so I gave you forever to prove it, & you still haven't done so.
