To the beginners take it slow the first area id the most challenging, you will run out of blood vials and you be stuck for hours but the game tests much more rewarding and fun once you get past that initial test.

Imagine if your a player who has never played a souls game before and does not know what to expect though, it’s easy for us because we know the layout and we are good at timing attacks but for a new player who has no idea what it’s like then it’s hard.

You can say the game has a steep learning curve, but yo say the first area is the hardest is implying by level design.

I was entirely new when I first played Bb and didn't hit an actual wall in progression until Gascoigne. After that, the game opened up and with what I learned, the general game wasn't too bad until the forbidden woods.
