There’s no objectively best weapon in Bloodborne, of course, but what is your preference?

The Chikage. It’s bloodbornes touch of malice and it’s awesome especially when upgraded with a bloodstone chunk. It’s really easy to kill yourself with it though so it takes a little finesse.
-
It's fun to use.
-
Tried using it once upon a time. Thought it was cool, but I wasquite awful with it.
-
Buried blade and simons bowblade are my favorites
-
I wanted to make a build with the Burial Blade. Not being able to get it until NG+ has discouraged me so far, though.
-
Just lose to Moon Presence and you will still be at the end of the game, able to purchase it... I think. The badge does drop after beating Gehrman.
-
Well, yeah, but what are you supposed to do at the end of the game?
-
I farm bosses wherever people need help.
-
I can do that for a little while, but at that point, it’s just better to go to NG+.
-
I know, but it's also a good method to max a couple other weapons to experiment with by earning insight and buying rocks.
-
I don’t play the dlc on the run so I got it and used it for the dlc
-
I hope I get around to using it one day. By the time I finish NG, though, I’ce usually already fallen in love with my current weapon.
-
Chalice dungeons do not scale, so go into earlier dungeons to learn weapons.
-
It’s less a problem of learning the weapon, more just not wanting to switch.
-
Understandable. Which is why I still prefer the saw Cleaver and similar weapons over others.
-
There is one that is objectively the best
rakuyo bitches
-
Man, you KNOW what is up! Rakuyo +Evelyn = Parry + Riposte
-
I do love that Rakuyo. Great weapon... and your firearm choice is my favorite firearm.
For the glory of Cainhurst!
-
It’s just so fluid! Despite its linear trajectory, it’s versatility is so welcoming in a land so hostile.
-
Speaking of hostile, those giant fishes that guard it make for a worthy trial to get the weapon.
-
I'm all about that balance. I like something that is fairly easy to swing, but not too light on damage... while my backup is something heavier. My go to gear is Saw Cleaver/Ludwig Holyblade with hunter pistol/hunter torch. This set carried me through the whole game.
-
I think my favorite was the Reiterpallasch. Sadly, Simon’s Bowblade is kimd of objectively better..
-
I was tempted to downvote this just because I hate your weapon preference. But I shan’t. I’ll just invade you and let the Rakuyo speak for itself.
-
I mean, I don’t care about upvotes or downvotes, so you can. :p Invading me would provw nothing. I’m so bad at PvP that I’ll die regardless.
