I can go toe to toe pretty well with the anja. If I can make sure to dodge anytime he knocks me over. Only die if I get dizzy and it immediately fire breaths me.

Well get high fire resist and eat for elemental defense (L), drink drugs for attack and defense and a max pot for max health and his fire attack will just annoy you a bit before you stomp him into the ground.
