There is a mission surrounding that. You can go in there. After some forge weapons you get the quest to go in there. It’s a really cool quest and great way to incorporate Saint-14 into the game itself imo.

The takeaway from the post is the door is not completely barred shut. Have done the quests and all the weapons. But you still look in and perfectly see Saint-14 if you go back there.

Well yeah. I think it’s sort of to let people still be able to see in there if they already did the quest, like how the SIVA Replication place is open in patrol even after doing Iron Tomb.
