And for the record, I ran every Nightfall in Destiny 1 solo more than once. I didn't find it hard. Nightfalls in Destiny 2 are not hard either. All you do is sprint past everything to beat the boss before the time expires. We are talking about TIME here. For some people, they don't have the TIME to sit on team wipes. THAT is the point Sierra is making. You can disagree without being a jerk. Destiny has a reputation of having a toxic community because of people like you.

Fair enough. Well the point isn't about me. Like I said, I used to solo without a time limit on Destiny 1. But I understand the problem some people have with time. Going back to the old method will hurt people like that. Plus.....Destiny 1 is still available if someone wants to run a nightfall without a time limit.

I don't think Sierra is saying "not to get rid of the time limit". But rather, if they do get rid of it, don't go back to the team wipe theme. Basically so you can keep going when the whole team dies. Which seems reasonable to me.

That’s exactly it. It’s a lot of time spent on team wipes. And I know the answer from some might be git gud but even good players make mistakes. Even raids have checkpoints. And if Destiny really is for only the most elite players and not for Casuals who have kids and have to be interruptible, then it makes perfect sense for me to conclude that Destiny just isn’t a fit for my lifestyle— except that Destiny 2 didn’t start that way, and all the D1 whiners are the ones influencing the game to change back to an unfriendly system, so yeah that’s very frustrating for someone with limited time and budget who invested in a game that WAS friendly to my lifestyle and then gets changed Bc people can’t just go back to playing D1.
