Promote Chris Barrett

So, it truly seems like the only person at Bungie with any idea of where the game should be headed is Chris Barrett. I will never understand why a glorified video game blogger was put in charge of this franchise. Where has Luke Smith been since all of this went down? He punked out of the last live stream after all. It also seems like the majority of these awful design decisions have come from the "throw money at the screen" dumbass mentioned above and his associates. Chris Barrett is literally the only one with any bit of dignity and common sense to to steer us back in the right direction. People should be fired, others promoted, and better talent brought in. After all, Bungie and Activision's quarterly earnings are great. Make it happen!

 • As much as I would like to agree with this, let me offer a couple things to think about: 1. It's always easier to see and rectify the issues of someone else's work. Creating your own work is much more difficult. 2. Don't forget who was responsible for HoW, which is it's own mixed bag. Yeah, PvP was arguably in one of the best states it was ever in and we did get E-Light which brought relevance to all Y1 content. But it also brought us Trials (which has been a source of contention and possibly the reason for many nerfs over they years), a very lackluster endgame in Prison of Elders, and perks like Shank Burn. Maybe he's gotten a better feel for the community since then, but I'd still be hesistant to put him in charge. Although, TBF, I can't see him doing a worse job than Luke Smith, Mark Noseworthy, or John Wisnewski.
