Improvements upon the Aeon set

The Aeon Soul/Swift/Safe exotic gauntlets needs some improvements because they as of now are very underused "support" exotics. I propose the following changes that could make the Aeon set a true support exotic set. Class ability activation gives the following to your nearby teammates: Reload Speed and Armor buffs for Hunters. Rift Energy recharge and Mobility buff for Warlock Barricade Energy recharge and Recovery buff for Titans. I say reload speed and armor for hunters because hunters don't need Dodge ability recharge. That is useless to Hunters because it recharges so fast, AND the top skill tree on Arcstrider makes it so you recharge your Dodge every time you get a melee kill. Plus, it provides no advantage for your other teammates, unlike the Rally Barricade or either Rift ability. Hunters are experts with firearms, and should be given a buff that allows them to output more damage with their guns. This will exemplify a Hunter's prowess in a team, and make them a desirous choice for any team. A Rift recharge for Warlocks would be very beneficial to your team, since you will always have your Rift if Hunters keep using dodge to help recharge everyone's abilities. This will help maximize damage with always having Empowering Rift, and with keeping your team alive with Healing Rift. These changes will show that the Warlock is truly a support/medic for their team. Titans will love getting their Rally Barricades back every time a teammate uses their abilities. This will help maximize damage, or help keep yourself alive in a situation where cover is too far to run to. Couple that with a Recovery buff, and you are truly the tank of the team. What do you think? Any changes that you want for the Aeon set besides what's listed?

  • Don't change what they do. Rather have the bonus ability energy granted to the class when they use it. Like hunter dodge gives some dodge energy and same for the other classes

  • Why not let it boost the recharge of all class abilities, melee abilities, grenades and supers?

  • Under the right circumstances the Aeon gear can give a Warlock back their grenade in 10 seconds. That's nothing to scoff at.

      I think it's fine as is. Warlocks rely on their grenades (especially Dawnblade and Voidwalker) and shitting out Rift energy would break a lot of things. Literally infinite healing rifts. I won't speak much on the Hunter as I don't play it but I think dodge is fine as well. The supplemental stat boosts could be added, but then I think that's a little powercreepy. They're already the strongest teamplay exotics.
