Unfortunately, I also went against something I told myself I wouldn't do: pre-order D2 and any DLC. I thought I had learned my lesson from D1, but apparently it took me another mistake for me to learn again to hold my excitement for something that proves it's value consistently. Where I'm at now: painfully watching a mere fraction of my money spent on this game only to witness a major insufficiency in content, and waiting for Bungie to wake up and smell the fertilizer that is our critiques on this franchise. I'm happy to have heard back from Chris Barrett in a more direct manner. However, we all still have to wait for these changes to be implemented for the game to change. What can we do as a community? Boycott Eververse? That's one move. How about Boycotting D2? How about not buying a single thing from Bungie, including playing their game?

 • Like I said. We each have our own decision to make. I'll tell you my perspective in D2. It has become a game about a number. That number is my power level. The only reason I play is to increase my power level. I do this by completing weekly milestones. I don't do the raid. I haven't done any strikes or the nightfall. I only get the clan rewards. I wear the same armor and use pretty much the same weapons and only play a solar Warlock. That's it. Other than that I'm busy with COD WW2.

The only reason I play is to increase my power level.
I'll tell you my perspective on D2: It's a game that's insufficient in content throughout it's entirety, all while stretching the few fibers it has in the appearance of "lots to do" as players get showered with Legendary and Exotic drops. It doesn't seem to matter what any of us care about most in this game so long as the numbers between players that continue to purchase outweigh those who don't, aka Bungie's gumball machine. You know that phrase, "Hate the game, not the player."? If there weren't people buying this game, Bungie would have to drastically change or quit. Thousands post on forums all over about Destiny. What about the rest of the millions? I don't just blame Bungie. I also blame players. And I blame myself, not just for my purchase, but for continuing to hope for a better game from this forsaken franchise I see potential in.
