Outcast Guardian Chapter 1: The Beginning
This is my first fanmade story so apologies for any typos or errors. Likes, bumps and constructive criticism are all appreciated
As the Exo Titan Wraith-11 opened his eyes, he wondered how the people of the City were. He knew from eavesdropping on Vanguard channels that the City had recently been assaulted by Cabal calling themselves the Red Legion, that those same Cabal had captured the Traveler, stripping the light from all Guardians, and that the Guardian responsible for the death of the Heart of the Black Garden, Atheon, Crota, Oryx, and Aksis, had yet another monumental victory under his belt in not only reclaiming his Light, but using it to stop the Red Legion from harvesting the Traveler's light, and that the Traveler was awake and Osiris had returned. Not only that but the Dawning had occurred soon afterwards, but the celebrations were somewhat marred by a large portion of the remaining Guardians grumbling about Tess being "a bit too greedy for the holiday." Wraith wanted to return, to help rebuild, but he knew full well what would happen if he came back. He'd be arrested, put on trial, and executed, or they'd just skip the trial and shoot him on sight. And he couldn't blame them in the slightest. Wraith looked down at the back of his left hand. From a distance, it looked normal, but if you inspected the gauntlet closely, you could see thousand of subtly shifting patterns. But there was always that one design. The mark of his curse. The symbol of the Devil Splicers. The symbol of SIVA.
