I had optimism for Destiny 1... I had optimism for all if its DLC... I also had optimism for Destiny 2. I don’t have optimism for Destiny 2 2018, far to many people patting Bungie on the back for bringing back features from Destiny 1. Also actions speak louder than words!

So crucible rankings, masterwork items, which are expanding to Exotics and armor, Raid mods, a full rework of the modification system, PC version receiving another (does it have any to begin with?) text chat option, being able to see your fireteam members on the destination map, and being able to map any emote to the D-pad isn't new? I agree that actions speak louder than words, but it's hard to even begin performing when your audience is already throwing their chairs at you, let alone popcorn and tomatoes.

Masterworks are only there to fill the void after they removed Random Perk Rolls. While I understand fixed weapons are easier to nerf and isolate issues with, but in a game all about RNG loot you can’t even get random weapon perks on your guns? Yeah just another conundrum Bungie has put themselves in. The forum is full of angry, tired and upset players amongst players who still have hope, however after they gradually fixed Destiny 1 through a plethora of updates and DLC could you blame the broken down players to be so frustrated

Edited by CAD1420Z: 1/12/2018 9:55:23 AMIf the forums weren't so full of irrationally angry posts, Bungie might take our negative feedback more seriously. Seeing "-blam!- you and your very existence, Bunghole!1!!111!!11!!!" constantly doesn't help anyone, and is demoralizing. I'd bet there are some members of Bungie's development staff that feel like abject shit when they read these kinds of posts, and just as broken down and frustrated as the players who are. I'm not excusing anything they've done by saying this, but it goes both ways. We all need to acknowledge that more. And yeah, it sucks that we lost a majority of the improvements made in D1, but D2 is on track to at least hit par within the year, which is still substantially better than the 3 it took for D1 to even get to the starting line, so to speak.
