Bright engrams: rate of earning
Since the change to exp gain and such I have been earning bright/illuminated engrams at 1/3 the rate, and as such only earn three per week (one one each character). This made obtaining enough bright dust to by certain things in the dawning impossible through gameplay.

You can earn 3 per character through the Well-Rested quicker than the normal XP gains, and each level raise takes 1.5 - 2 hours (speaking anecdotally). You should theoretically be able to get 9 per week without too much difficulty. Doing your weekly milestones should get you to 1, the Raids should get you to your 2nd, and general farming/grinding for your 3rd. Hang in there!
