I feel like playstation 4 has a lot more of that since it is the Japanese console more focused on an older player base. Nintendo tends to only get a handful of games like that.

I mean some people do want more games like that, and the switch is likely to have at least some. It already has disgaea 5 which is like that, and fire emblem is likely to have at least some fan service (it is supposed to release this year). So some people are likely to say what you said in a serious manner. But it is also difficult to tell when someone is joking through text, especially since replies cant have satire tags.
