Eververse "Cosmetic Only" is bull
These Ghost shells have perks that change the game for those that have them equipped, having a 10% EXP boost on a shell (which is only available through the bright engrams) after doubling the EXP needed to earn a single engram (after being caught out for throttling EXP gains by 95%) is a joke. This effects the game and thus makes it pay to win as it offers an advantage.
Stop defending this, bungie are in the wrong, they need to fix it.
Bungie have made it clear too that they really don't want players being able to farm bright engrams, they've now twice successfully changed the game in order to get people to spend more money on microtransactions, how can anyone carry on defending it when the proof is literally right in front of us. Stop defending the awful practices, stop spending money on a dev team who don't care about the games they make. This entire game is nothing more than a cashgrab at this point.

1 Reply10% xp is next to nothing you know that right? Anyone dumb enough to spend money on a 10% xp increase deserves to get nothing and lose their money. The fact that you think this is the biggest part of eververse having a negative impact on the game just shows how much people are clutching at straws when it comes to finding things wrong with eververse. From those bright engrams you can also get armour sets... but they are also cosmetic because they are identical stat wise as the armour you currently have. Other then that you get some ships, sparrows, shaders and weapons and armour skins... all cosmetic and giving no advantage in the game what so ever.

Seeing as xp only gives you bright engrams which give you cosmetics yeah, it’s all cosmetic items. Xp doesn’t increase your power, get you weapons from vendors, or unlock perks on weapons. Stop trying to find things to be upset about for no reason.

The levels come too fast that level specific gear requirements are a joke, and the 10%buff will only be noticed by people constantly restarting characters. For the vast majority of players the only thing xp buffs do is get eververse engrams faster, which btw is cosmetic.
