So because you decided to not purchase the DLC then all of the content that we payed for in the DLC should be kept at your power level? No increase? So now we must cater the game to the PC player now because they had a late start? I was raiding regularly mid week two of the raid availability, finished the prestige raid the first weekend all with LFG crews. The prestige raid is coming back to base game owners and the only prestige that will not be available outside of DLC owners is the nightfall. Get over it and either pay for the DLC or stop complaining, you sound like a little ten year old who didn’t get his way!

He never said that. He expects Bungie to keep the vanilla difficulty available, not make it the only level. Who's the 10 year old here again?

It is exactly what he is saying, he want to keep exactly what he paid for which in turn means that if his level only goes to 305 and the nightfall scales up to 335 as it should then he is asking for it to not go to 335 and be brought down to his level because it is what he paid for. We are talking the prestige level here in question! That is what he is complaining about.

And prestige level came with the base game. There's no excuse why Bungie can't add a vanilla prestige level to the selector.

So you are basically on here replying to posts without reading anything Bungie released as far as updates then? They gave a release of information that stated that the prestige raid for the leviathan would be dropped back down for now til they make a selection for higher level available. Read the information before you post things. Also prestige level for just vanilla? come on that is just dumb to have two prestige levels for one activity. Besides then you are being unfair to the players that bought the DLC because then Bungie would have to come up with 4 levels of difficulty for one game mode or just three were the new normal that the DLC paying players would get would be the “vanilla prestige “ if 4 levels would cause too many bugs in the system

Oh how difficult for poor poor Bungie, having to add another difficulty tab to the selector, give me a break. If I'm not mistaken you have a brand new raid lair, cry me a river. You still get gear up to 335 and can infuse it into the old hard raid gear if it's that important

Okay smarty pants, how about you name for me a game that would have that many difficulty levels for just one game mode! Now take into account that it must be the same mission and be a mmo style game! Of course you would know all about how easy it is to change a game mode with all the extra objectives that differ between normal and prestige, because you have a career is programming and have multiple degrees to back up your pointless statement that it is so easy to add difficulty levels right? Your account is not even linked to the game, so in all honesty you probably have not even played Destiny 2 right?

Check and mate? Hardly, you talked about having two full sets of difficulty level modes, vanilla and dlc. Now show me in Destiny one where there is four levels of difficulty in any of the raids now? Last time I checked there was a normal and a hard mode, just two! With the one exception of the wrath raid which brought the hard mode up 10 light when it was its turn as a challenge mode. As far as your question, first answer mine first then I will indulge yours, because I asked first.

And people thought it was wrong then, they still think it is now. The power dynamic has shifted back in to the player's favor. Yes, there should be a difficulty node every time the level goes up. With roughly 1000 people between 3 studios, it should be more than manageable.
