If you have any program for overclocking graphic cards or CPU running in the background, close them.. I had to close my Asus Ai Suite program, for the CPU. It made my the game freeze the PC for 3 sec, every 1 min or 2. Can also be good to Close EVGA precision X or other brands program for OC graphic cards.

  • I and others have tried this. It is not a sure fire way to fix the issue. In fact I read that some people got the crashes to stop happening by running GPU/CPU monitoring software like Afterburner or Precision X.

That might be what's causing it, I always have my EVGA Precision X 16 running due to having a custom fan curve running at all times to keep my card cool... I'll try running the game for a day without it running and report if it keeps happening or not after. If that turns out to be the case I'd be kinda salty but at least happy I could play the game no problems... *UPDATE* Turns out that me having EVGA Precision X16 and Advanced system care open while running Destiny 2 was causing the freezes/crashing... I will update my post to reflect this. Thanks for the info as this helped me :3
