In 23 different nations, it's illegal to "downplay" the Holocaust. Not too long ago, an 89 year old woman was thrown in jail for questioning it.
The truth fears no investigation.

Really... David Irving. Claims to be objective but when the Eichmann memoirs mentioned Hitler's orders to begin the holocaust he claims it was a lie. Not because he has any evidence, but because it didn't fit with his narrative. I asked for [i]evidence[/i] not some video. Very lazy. If most historians say one thing, and one says the other, how did you decide the one guy is correct? I'm guessing it fits with what you [i]want[/i] to believe.

I gave you a video to watch. Apparently you claim videos aren't credible yet literally the only evidence of the gas chambers are videos of Jews and their testimonies, if you can even consider witnesses as evidence.

The only problem with your logic is there is no video of the incident, and in fact videos of the camps and gas chambers goes against what the witnesses say

They show the murder of prisoners in huge numbers and the appalling conditions in the camps. There is a reason why Irving, though respected in some ways, is deemed a fringe lunatic by most other historians. What I'd love to know is, with Hit[b]I[/b]er dead and the N@zis defeated, and irrefutable evidence that they weren't very nice, why would anyone need to create a massive conspiracy to make them seem slightly worse? Why run a smear campaign against a side you've defeated that are already smeared?

The West was very pro-Hitler for a long time until they grew envious of him because they were stuck in a depression while the Germans were free. The smear campaign was necessary to make the National Socialists look like the bad guys, when it was in fact Churchill who was the tyrannical warmonger, yet the history books paint him as the hero, as it is only the victors who get to write the history.

Um most Pols saw the Germans as liberators. Look at the Ukrainians. Hitler was no saint but he wasn’t a monster. He lost and that was his only real crime against history. Many people to this day think of him as a racism. So if that’s so, then why did he meet with our African American atheleyes during the Berlin Olympics? Why did Jesse Owens sit down with Hitler? And late in life Jesse Owens only had good things to say about the meeting. This country was born from Yellow Journalism. James K Polk “American Blood Spilled on American Soil!” Is the headline that started a war with Mexico. Except the border dispute was favoring Mexico because we were wrong. Or how about Manifest Destiny! Or how about the GENOCIDE of the Original Americans. Yeah, try to read between the lines or at least don’t believe everything you read because “experts” and “historians”.

Sometimes people are busy dealing with things. I’ll spare you the details because it doesn’t matter. Anyway, back to the conversation. It’s not just about the holocaust my friend. We are living in a world that is make-believe. There are only so many companies that produce books, tv news, newspapers, etc and they all have agendas. I honestly wouldn’t concern myself with it all too much of you don’t need to. It just causes arguments and strife. But to me, I was just curious about what’s really true and it’s a mixture of both sides. Even if it seems unlikely, most historical figures that have been vilified weren’t monsters at all, they were just losers. When you lose, you don’t get to write the history books.

All you've done is make a highly dubious claim, and then when I pointed out how inaccurate it is, completely changed the subject. I have no interest conversing with people that talk rubbish then don't even acknowledge it when they're wrong.

That's 6 million people, many of which were civilians. So I'd love to know how you can make such a dubious claim. Edit - I would also like to know where you got all thus stuff about Hitler meeting Owens. My understanding is that Hitler did not shake hands with [i]any[/i] athletes during the games so that he could avoid acknowledging people like Owens.
