they should set it up similar to titan fall 2 where the pvp is a playlist with every game mode available but players have the ability to turn certain or all but one game mode off.
so if you only want to do control you would be able to select quick play then turn off the other game modes then start the match making.

Edited by parallelish: 11/6/2017 7:09:05 PMsupremacy would definitely be the least played though, which would make for longer wait times to match make which would then lead to even fewer people playing it, and then bungie would get sad about that and try a different way to force people into playing it. I've actually seen a few post where people say "i don't want to be that guy, but i am going to start backing out of every supremacy game" if enough people kept doing that then they might bring back mode selection. but i don't even play D2 anymore. as others have stated, the forum is more fun than the game.

The wait times for Supremacy would become too long, and it would become a sweaty match type as happened with Freelance. If so many players hate Supremacy, Bungie should replace it with a new match type.
