Honest question to the fans.
Do you honestly think the live team can deliver these changes and on a decent time line?

Can they? Yes. Will they? Remains to be seen, but I’m optimistic, the 1st I’ve been since the Beta. Within a decent time frame? Developers and gamers have two entirely different points of view. Since I can only have the perspective of the gamer, I will say no. And it’s not the Live Team’s fault.

dev team -blam!-s it up, live team fixes it even though it should of been fixed in the first place preventing them from working on content for the future to improve them game properly and right before they gain your trust back again they release a dlc that the dev team made go silent for another month put the live team at work repeat so tell me why everyone is happy with them bring in more content when there is enough right now there isnt a content drought just and incentive drought thats what they need to fix

Edited by CatMan: 10/27/2017 6:19:16 PMTheyll add those changes in like next year in a dlc. And he said nothing about the damn token which really pisses me off. So I might be out.

They won't private matches are coming in 2018 with next DLC you gotta pay for the fix
Honest question to the fans. Do you honestly think the live team can deliver these changes and on a decent time line?
-blam!- no
-
The key part of your question is "decent" time line. Most of what they are talking about are no brainers. It how quickly they can introduce and whether or not it will break anything. Also they have to look at the future dlcs to determine if anything in there will be broken. I think they'll try to make as many minor changes as possible, but the bigger ones will probably happen after the first dlc drops.
-
Depends, if the live team has taken the important lessons learned about what this game needs from D1 and from ALL (including the ones they don’t want to read) forum feedback then yes I believe so.
-
Look at Destiny 2 do you think they learnt much from the original? I dont.
-
I honestly don’t believe the dev team building d2 even looked at d1 once they started work on d2. The attitudes and the lack of communication from the dev team that throws this new stuff at us versus the tone of the updates given to us via the live team have a dramatically different feel to them. The live team is based almost 100% around keeping the player base around so they are far more inclined to take feedback directly and be more communicative. The dev team just makes new shit that they hope is interesting. Once it’s out of their hands the live team seems to be left to clean up the aftermath whether it’s good or bad. The live team so far has done a decent job enhancing the good and doing what they can to improve the bad that the dev team is leaving them with especially given how small that live team actually is. The live team is probably the one team at Bungie I’m not worried about.

I have sed it before it won't be fixed/good until after the season pass dlc is over and they want to sell you an expansion for 40 bucks
-
NO trust me on this one. D1 beta player...
-
Honest answer? Yes. The live team and the team working on the dlc/next game (if that's even been thought of yet) work separately (for the most part). The fact that we are already hearing from the live team NOW is a really good thing for D2' longevity. I know you mostly troll the forums. I can respect that. So I assume that you'll respect my opinion on the matter as well

Leave

No. Maybe in year three.. Again.

It will not be enough

Edited by Caedus456: 10/27/2017 2:18:01 PMHonest question to you. Do you do anything with your life besides troll? Do you even play Destiny?
-
It was a serious question.

Good question. I’d say he is playing it right now. Just a closet hater. Falling in line with the rest of the trash talkers on here.
-
Edited by Mochi Kitty: 10/27/2017 6:06:01 PMHe's actually not playing it, he hasn't even touched the second game. Edit: Don't like my post viper, that wasn't meant to prove your point. xD

Live team saved D1, I'd say yeah
-
Live team saved D1, I'd say yeah
At the same time they kinda killed crucible fun with the special ammo problem
-
Some where happy about those changes, some were not. Still, at least something happened.
-
Nah man, after a week no one was happy with being almost forced to use side arm or icebreaker. This is why I talk about compromise. Either reduce ammo that drops from special crates each pick up(HALF) or when you die instead of losing all ammo lose HALF. This compromise would have led to reduced special usage while still making all weapons viable. Sidearms and icebreaker just negated the change and almost forced a particular play style. Not a good change objectively.
-
Sorry to hear that man. Usually, I ran MIDA and stuck to long range engagements so I don't have to deal with sidearms. Against Icebreaker users, I just avoid that engagement unless the team could focus the sniper. You're right on how people were forced to play a particular setup.
