ALL HAIL CHRISTOPHER BARRETT, SAVIOUR OF DESTINY 2

So everyone remember Chris? That emo dude with nice shoes from House of Wolves and then Rise of Iron. Well, basically, in my opinion, he was one of the developers that started to make D1 a better game. House of Wolves was (again in my opinion) the start of the turning point for the fundamental changes D1 would go through, for the better. Sir Barrett blesses us once again. All hail the king.
New systems and rewards to give our most engaged players additional, optional pursuits.
Better incentives for players who complete challenging Prestige activities.
Better rewards and replay value for strikes, adventures, and Lost Sectors.
Private matches for the competitive community (we are targeting early 2018).
Crucible tuning like adjusted Supremacy scoring and better spawning rules.
Better incentives for completing Crucible matches (and penalties for quitting competitive games).
Continued improvements to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies, including uniqueness of rewards.
Changes to make the mod economy more interesting and impactful.
Ongoing improvements to Exotics, including adjustments to reduce instances of duplication.
New ways to spend surplus currency and materials (looking at you Legendary Shards).
An emote interface that allows players to equip Salty, Spicy Ramen, Six Shooter, and Flip Out all at the same time.

PLEASE, in the middle of all that, put a way for us to change de skin of weapons and armors, just like we can change the colors. Put an icon and then a windows open with the skin of all equips we already collected trough the game. If we are using raid equip, and want it to look like a white armor, let us choose it. Please!!!!

2 RepliesWeapon rolls need to return. If you're going to do the same thing over and over again there has to be a carrot at the end of the stick. There is nothing to shoot for in this game. All I need is the raid rocket and I've been playing for only 3 weeks with 4 305's got a late start. I don't even play it and I was a diehard d1 fan. Imo this game is broken.

2 RepliesThere must be a couple changes ASAP. First kill static rolls or change the mod design. More mods, ranging in rarity and means to obtaining them. Perhaps mod that offer various interesting perks. You literally could fix the issue with static weapons by expanding mods. Imagine getting an exotic mod for a legendary gun! How cool would it be to have a mod which adds 3rd eye to a legendary weapon or something like that. Take this further and make some exotic mods only available from trials or the raid, add in the element of a random drop and boom!!!! You sir now have added an end game grind. I need this grind btw. Second exotics need a rework. Bungie go watch some review videos post by fans on various exotics. Basically most exotics are infuse fuel and nothing more. Exotics should give you an edge! That’s the freaking point! I should be able to pair said exotics with whatever edge or advantage I’m trying to work towards. We WANT to feel POWERFUL! Its the damn point of the game! Finally make light matter! Those who are 305 put in time to get to 305. I’m 303-304. However in trials and in IB it should freaking matter! These deserve to be bad asses when they put the damn time in! Chris, please for the love of god fix this game and fix it fast. I need my winter Destiny grind!

6 RepliesI'm having fun with D2. I'm not one of the toxic people who have been overly critical to the point where it's almost unbelievable. However, there is nothing new on this list. Everything on that list is something that was suggested as far back as year 1 Destiny. One of those items, Private Matches, was not only requested as far back as year 1, it was added to D1. Why was it left out of D2? The question still remains. Why after 3 years of saying "we're listening" did D2 come out the way it did? Like I said, I'm enjoying D2. But it is fair to say that Bungie squandered an opportunity to make a truly great game.

would love something like have a social area thats divided by light level or whatever, 100-200, 200-250 or 200-300 etc just a room where you go into it and has people in that range with a room wide chat option(edited) have it similar to a vex portal you go through it to get into the area/room, could even have a clan room which would be cool with trophies and banners etc, i know the clan part sounds corney but could be a fun addition having a raid boss's head mounted on the wall etc lol

Someone new comes in and suggested "lets add back all the good stuff from destiny 1 and sell it as our new dlc" and you think he is saving the game. What was suggested is not a fix. It is the same content that we had and loved from Destiny 1 and should of been included in the game from the start. These are good changes but lets not be mislead about what were getting here. Stay tuned for for the spring update which will include: 1. The ability to chose pvp game modes. 2. The ability to play strikes from the map and not a playlist. 3. Strike spiscific loot. 4. Some more weapons from destiny 1 like the vex, the no land, and the truth. 5. The ability to change your entire appearence with just 1 shader!!! And much more to come.

No pressure Mr Barrett. The dlc needs to be kick ass if I'm going to buy it. I finally gave warframe a try and I'm hooked. It's everything destiny should be, and it makes destiny look like child's play

House of wolves is when the game took a turn for the worse. I don't understand why so many of you think that was a 'turning point'. Just because they are gonna throw a few more rng shit at you all of a sudden everyone is praising Bumgie. The base game is in ruins and without taking it down for a couple of weeks, there is no other fix.

Like seriously, can this community not be positive? Almost all of these responses are negative! I get that all of that stuff should've been in the game at launch, but come on. Can we you guys do something besides complain for once?
