*AND HIS TEAM
So everyone remember Chris? That emo dude with nice shoes from House of Wolves and then Rise of Iron. Well, basically, in my opinion, he was one of the developers that started to make D1 a better game. House of Wolves was (again in my opinion) the start of the turning point for the fundamental changes D1 would go through, for the better. Sir Barrett blesses us once again. All hail the king.
New systems and rewards to give our most engaged players additional, optional pursuits.
Better incentives for players who complete challenging Prestige activities.
Better rewards and replay value for strikes, adventures, and Lost Sectors.
Private matches for the competitive community (we are targeting early 2018).
Crucible tuning like adjusted Supremacy scoring and better spawning rules.
Better incentives for completing Crucible matches (and penalties for quitting competitive games).
Continued improvements to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies, including uniqueness of rewards.
Changes to make the mod economy more interesting and impactful.
Ongoing improvements to Exotics, including adjustments to reduce instances of duplication.
New ways to spend surplus currency and materials (looking at you Legendary Shards).
An emote interface that allows players to equip Salty, Spicy Ramen, Six Shooter, and Flip Out all at the same time.
There's more we're working on. We'll talk again soon.

Ya I’m sooooo very happy and excited I forgot to brush my teeth as the reskin game is making changes, so glad we have friendship.....
-
Wow! Someone's got a schoolgirl crush!
-
You crackheads are absolutley delusional to think they are gonna fix the huge problems with this game with some shitty patch to add more tokens to strikes.
-
Yeah, not so sure those features are going to cut it. There are bigger problems at hand.

Edited by GraciousEel761: 10/28/2017 1:04:09 AMAs much as the changes are good, it seems like almost everything on the list could have easily been in during launch, so for me, adding this stuff in isn't incredibly impressive. What I'm hoping for is more ambitious DLC this time around, with more areas to explore in the destinations we already have, except EDZ, its fleshed out nicely. All this stuff is great, don't get me wrong, but I'm not particularly impressed. Not yet anyways.

Nothing is going to save this POS sequel.
-
To what end? These are or will be cosmetic fixes. If they don't add end game gear or top tier and elite items with perks that are relevant to a specific playlist, then once again the player base declines after a few weeks. Taking away the "nanny state", here's your trophy for showing up engram system needs to just go away. I have no doubt this will continue to be a condescending slap in the face to the " non casual " gaming community which is the real force behind longevity of a game.

So, its introduced and is the “turning point” to great things for D1, then removed from D2 only to be reintroduced and “hailed” as the savior? Sorry, but no.
-
TWAB didn’t say anything at all.
-
Wow! People are really dumb. Bungie has promised stuff before and did not deliver. Also, why the praise when he has yet to do anything. Wait till the stuffs he said is on game then give the hand Fokker praise. Just saying.
-
No clue who barret is so he doesn't matter
-
He was the savior of destiny

I'm pretty hyped for the future. I started D1 kinda late and was excited to get D2. I'm still having fun playing D2 and I'm a day one player. I don't understand the hate. I mean with all that's coming down the pipe, it's reason to be excited. But ah well, you can't please everyone.
-
Too many vague improvements. Let’s see if Bungie learns when things get updated

Edited by Ozamataz Buckshank: 10/27/2017 11:01:29 PMFAR too little, too late. I see the fanbois are out in force for the first time in a while.

Can't wank him yet...
-
Yeah, all hail the next guy who the forums will be calling for to get fired.
-
"ALAS" doesn't mean what you think it does. You meant ARISE.
-
Nope. Planets will still be boring and alien races still the same... yawn...

dev team -blam!-s it up, live team fixes it even though it should of been fixed in the first place preventing them from working on content for the future to improve them game properly and right before they gain your trust back again they release a dlc that the dev team made go silent for another month put the live team at work repeat so tell me why everyone is happy with them bring in more content when there is enough right now there isnt a content drought just and incentive drought thats what they need to fix TTDR; they arent really gonna fix shit

Seems to me that there was zero communication between D1 live team and D2 Dev team, a lot of the things that made y2&3 D1 great have not been transferred. A lot of the stuff that made vanilla D1 great (which it was, there was nothing else quite like it on console at the time), was also missed.
-
I'll believe it when I see it, Bungie erased a lot of goodwill with gamers when they dropped what they finally got right with D1.
-
It’s great Bungie has acknowledged these issues and let us know they are working on things to improve the game. Imagine though if they didn’t try to completely revamp the game and have to go back and fix it!! All the effort they are now having to fix and improve a game, which could be out to making more content instead of fixing what’s there.
-
why not just let his team do like, i don't know, the whole game?
