Activision Matchmaking

Might be a little late thought you might know that Activision has a algorithm to put players against better players with paid items to intice novice players to buy said paid items and after match those players against even weaker players to make puchase feel like a good purchase

  • They have a patent that was developed by a research department not connected to any game studios. Unless it's been published somewhere, there's no evidence this has actually been implemented in any games. It's also not really relevant to Destiny, since the Bright Engrams you can purchase don't grant any weapons as described in the patent.
