Hello,
This may indicate that your GPU Drivers are out of date. You may also need to Alt+tab between windows.

i have tried updating my drivers, and ive tried alt-tabbing through my open windows, and on top of that after i updated my drivers i have a horrible shadow glitch in the class select menu. my laptop is an HP and meets most if not all of the minimum requirements to run this game. i would very much like to play your game and i would appreciate it if a solution could be found

Because THAT IS NOT A SOLUTION, Your fundamental programming is flawed to say the least. Too many ppl are having issues, so stop blaming the users machines.
