I remember vanilla D1 but for me the story isn’t “great”. It may seem that way compared to D1 because D1 has no story at all. Characters aren’t that memorable either but at least they talk more I guess. I see what some are saying about development and how in time we will get the good stuff back. For me, I can’t go along for the ride no more. As far as I know it could take 2-3 years before D2 is where it should be. That’s even more money out of my pocket. Hopefully when they had things like strike specific loot, heroic strikes, strike scoring, etc etc it will be in a free update and not held behind a paid expansion. If so I can see myself returning for some fun but other than that, no thank you.
