there are so many things missing from D2 compared to D1 vanilla but before i reel off a long list, let me sum it up in one sentence.
it's not fun anymore.
and now here's the list why it's not fun;
- 95% RNG
- Power DOESN'T matter
- lost sectors are the easiest things to find and even then they're not worth finding
- mobility? my 76 year old mother can move faster than a guardian
- no exotics are worth having (except mida multi-tool...until bungie nerf it....again)
- crucible? teamwork = teamshooting. it's the ONLY way to play
- i still can't fly my ship
- the only character of interest is already dead. RIP Gary
- what happened to the moon, venus and mars? will i have to buy them again?

- i wish Tess Everis got to use her gun because there's a good chance she wouldn't now be in the tower

i'm trying to make light of the state of D2 but i'm past angry, disappointed or sad. i'm seething.

You shouldn't have to clarify that Jules Winnfield is from Pulp Fiction. Everyone should know this.

You won't have to pay for Venus or the moon but mars, the dreadnaught. And the reef. Also mercury but that one is new.

Power Level doesnt matter 2.they removed Weapon Rolls 3.its so stupid that 85% of Guns are useless regardless of 4.Armor Ornaments no longer exist in game 5.Sparrow collection comes entirely from Eververse 6.Ship collection comes entirely from Eververse 7.there are no Strike Specific Loot Options 8.there isn't a 6v6, 3v3, or additional PVP options 9.there are no Secret Exotics or Easter Eggs (Oryx Basketball Court) 10.Exotics look unique, feel unique, but do not act unique 11.there are no means of World Collection (Ghost, Calcified Frags, etc). 12.Vault of Glass is 3 years older and yet seems 3 years ahead of Leviathan 13. Crotas End is 3 years older and yet seems 3 years ahead of Leviathan 14.Kings Fall is 2 years older and yet seems 2 years ahead of Leviathan 15. Hard Mode and Normal Mode Raid are simply for Vanity 16.Leviathan Raid is a Game show and not a Raid 17.there is no arena like POE 18.that there is no open world arena like Court of Oryx/Archons Forge 19.Sparrow Racing isnt in the game 20. Sparrows cant do backflips like the Hotwheels Sparrow TDB model 21.Planetary Materials are useless 22. gear doesn't require being upgraded (took legit 3 seconds)Trials isnt even hard this year 23. Public Events, Lost Sectors, Chest Looting, Adventures - are all useless 24.exotics are so useless 25.most of weapons have useless perks
