Continuous improvement of Destiny 2

Honestly i think that everybody that thought this was going to be different is disappointed, there is nuances that are different but in general there is not a lot of changes made. Then the biggest ones are "broken". I don't like to use that word because basically it's not broken but it's not optimized yet. For me there's a couple of things that need improving; 1 - token system: The loot is too repetitive. I assume that the randomness of things is not at a level where the player can actually get new armor and weapons every 2 or 3 engrams. Possible solution is too enhance that chance by having the system look at what players already have, so what is in their character inventory and vault. If you take that into account there will be less and less doubles until you have everything. This obviously will change as events and DLC's expand the games overall gear. 2 - Nightfall/raid/ToN/strike playlist: These activities needs specific loot that can only be gotten from the nightfall and nowhere else. The Boss at the end can drop purples, yellows or even a loot chest. I don't think that grinding the raid for coins is the way to go. The raid is more of a hardcore player thing and they only want the weapons and armor from it. Some casual players will not even attempt it as they are not interested in grinding something that long for tokens, they want instant gratification after the raid as it was in Destiny 1. For trials i would suggest that the token system is for all weapons available in the game, but for flawless there should be a chest at the end that only gives ToN loot. 1 armor piece and 1 weapon or just 1 armor piece or just 1 weapon. The strike playlist....hmmm, why would you even play this if you don't get good stuff for it, it is of no use in this game. It would be better to have strike specific loot and they should've been part of the story like having them as offense from the vanguard linking them to last mission or even the raid. Now they are pointless unless you want vanguard gear which only origin story (auto rifle) is worth it. 3 - The faction wars were too short and except a weapon that you can purchase cheaper there was no real reward for winning at least it didn't feel that way....IF this is every month i hope that the weapon that can be bought at the end is different each month, the grind for the armor pieces will stay the same i assume. 4 - Iron banner; the reward for season 1 is not enough, just an emblem (people play more to get the full armor set than anything else)...i would've done it differently. For instance maybe getting an exotic reward for having 1000 arc kills, 1000 solar kills and 1000 void kills would have been better. That exotic obviously could've been a specific armor piece or weapon. It makes things a bit more interesting and competitive what iron banner is supposed to be. 5 - weapons and armor; i understand it is difficult to make a lot of weapons and armor that are unique and/or stand out cause of their perk. Now i think a lot feels like re-skins and i am not exactly talking about exotics. Most exotics feel so situational right now there are not a lot of exotics that really stand out to me. I mean orpheus rig, the actrium war rig and the lunification boots or karmstein armlets are great armor pieces but situational. There is not real armor piece that is made for PvP and PvE. As for the weapons, i use sturm a lot and it seems like that needs a buff as it is weak in PvP, great for PvE though in combo with drang as they complement each other. Also i am missing exotic swords, don't ask why but i just miss them. The legendaries are a lot of the same, some stand out like uriells gift, the raid rocket launcher and iron banners auto rifle, but there are not a lot of these guns around. The swords all feel a bit generic to me. 6 - End game; The game is based on powerful engrams that you need to get to level up, when you level up your other engrams can be decrypted at higher levels. But it's just doing the things you need to get the powerful engrams is enough to get a few levels up. When that's done, its of no use playing, unless you are a casual player like me and are leveling up a second and/or third character..... Also the monthly events like SRL and Feast of the Lost should get new stuff each time that they are available to play. In general there is a lot that we players feel can change...i don' think people word it very well but i thought i try and make this constructive and enter some ideas i had for a while now. regards, TECH
