When you think back to the old cut content scandal during the early days of D1, reading posts like this really make laugh.
My point being, it took quite a while for D1 to become the game that most people loved, so why not afford D2 a little bit of time?

Destiny 2 should have learned from and built on what Destiny ended with. Not wiped it all out and started from scratch having learned nothing and disposed of all the lessons the dev team learned with three years of development and design.

EXACTLY.

It had content for everyone .I don't mind spanning big content like raids and story dlc out over 3 years but Destiny 2 has had so many wasted opportunities. They could have had an in game codex. Iron Banner could have had lore tabs and the weapons could have looked unique like they did in Rise of Iron instead of reskins. People can say that it's only the second Destiny but please remember that it took 3 years for Destiny 1 to have the content we wanted, only for something so simple like choosing crucible game mode to be ripped out in D2

...because they've already had three years of player feedback to build from? This game is such a massive step backwards it's infuriating. The worst part is that it is built on, in my opinion, the best god damn game engine out there! Seriously, it plays fantastically smooth, the graphics are great, the enemy design is unique in that you don't feel like they're all the same... except Taken I suppose, but that's besides the point. The reality is, everyone is complaining because they like playing this game, and they're disappointed there's not more to it.

You're honestly okay with waiting 3 more years for the game to be great again? You get a grip

Not what I said.
Make Destiny great again
That's like saying the iPhone was decent when it first came out, but they've had 8 generations to improve it. Then the iPhone 9 comes out and it's just a tad bit better than the original iPhone, and people saying the last one had 8 generations to improve. Simply put, sequels should continually improve.

Like what would you say if all of a sudden Microsoft Word didn't have half the options it does now but had a bunch of stuff people didn't ask for but they put it in emojis that work on Microsoft and Apple products in the name of "balance"?

Edited by Weesil xD: 10/11/2017 9:21:57 PMThat's the thing, this is their second game. They've so much more time to improve and make a better game. And this is what we start out with? It's pretty bad.

Edited by MrVilliams: 10/11/2017 9:27:13 PMWell, technically speaking, it is by no means Bungie's second game. In my opinion, One of the greatest strengths of D1 was how fluid and dynamic the game was/is - it was constantly evolving for the better. Granted a lot of things in D2 have the community peeved, myself included (4vs4!!) but it would be naive to write it off so soon.
