I posted something similar yesterday, as your idea seems like a variation on the record books which I think is something that is sorely missing from destiny 2.

Thanks for having a look, it's not much compared to your post, which actually contains a feasible solution. I just don't understand the disconnect between 1 and 2, I believe that a sequel should build on what they created in the first instance instead of removing ideas and content.

Agreed. They took a step backwards in Destiny 2 and I feel we will get back to where we were in D1 but it will take awhile. They will drip feed us old content so it looks like they have plan or more content than they do.
