So swords, by far my favorite weapon in the game, I just love em but there are some big problems, not many, just some that can get people screwed over - night stalker * smoke - you are unable to use smoke while using sword, and it makes sense, the sword uses the melee as swing and who would Melee with a sword out, and I can just switch weapons, smoke, and whip out sword again but it would be a nice quality of life change to put smoke to say your unoccupied reload button if your on a nightstalker. - voidwalker * devour - it doesn't work, you can't use devour while having your sword out, so say if your in a tight spot, you hide and activate devour but then instead you just throw the nade, I know just switch weapons then do it but if you have to make a work around to something that should work then maybe it needs a fix, also I don't know about charging the grenade with attunement of chaos but I'd assume it doesn't work either. -sword * guarding - is it just me or does the gard do nothing to help, no matter the efficiency or defense it takes 3 bullets from a auto or 2 from a scout and all the ammos gone, it's ineffective and useless, there is no point in wasting that sword ammo blocking when it's utility is so minor * shaders - ok so this isn't exactly a problem or a practical thing that needs to be fixed asap, it won't have any real use but I mean every other equitable item in the game takes shaders so why not swords, was there a issue with them having shaders or something? Edit: * momentum - I understand that D1 had a lot of momentum problems allowing people to get into unintended places but stopping dead in your tracks is not a good fix, it makes swords feel clunky and slow, and your screwed if you miss your first swing, I say it should keep 30% of your momentum so people won't abuse it but keeping swords as a nice smooth weapon to use Ok so these were my minor grievances with swords and it would be nice if they were fixed.
