Ok. Had some good time to make notes and here it is: The Good -Story was intense, fun, and had twists and turns which was more coordinated. To give credit though, I enjoyed Destiny 1 because I was massively curious about the environments I was walking into rather then the straightforward approach. I legitimately tried to stay alive for 99% of all encounters. I succeeded in Destiny 2. I did not in Destiny 1. I'll address this later. - Crucible gameplay and competitive shows up in almost every quickplay match I play. It's very well balanced team skill wise. - The raid is a good sentiment to other raids, but it's uniqueness is astounding and good. I would honestly not make this a standard (less fights, ect.), but it was refreshing and unique like I said to see a raid like this one. - Gunplay. The weapons on my Titan are as near and dear to me as my old Y1 D1 guns. Likewise, the kill and reward similarly when the coveted headshot is found again and again is probably the best thing in Destiny universally across all modes. - The Tower and Farm. I've been a Scouting Commander more then a few times now... and I'm definitely going FWC when Faction Wars start. No doubts there. I don't think I'm going to find two more social spaces I'll like... you've got your work cut out for you. Don't disappoint... - Flashpoints. Whoever came up with this concept and furthermore whoever made it work? Go give them a medal for figuring out how to make public events relevant. The Bad - If it is a Power, kinetic, ect. weapon? I want to transfer my Fusions, snipers, and rocket launchers into each other. The RATING should be what matters more then the number combined with the weapon type. - The adventure missions on each planet are still at lower light requirements. I'd rather be doing upgraded adventures. We killed Ghaul. I don't need to be told to go redo the ORIGINAL 60 POWER adventure. - All vendors need to have a reason to go back. This is game 2 Amanda Holiday doesn't even have RARE ships in her inventory just as an example. You also should look into things like rewarding patrols through all potential outlets. We are NOT going to self generate everything. We should ideally do small quests to gather materials for the better (rare, legendary, exotics) ships, sparrows, ect. - Taken are drawn to light, but nowhere else? Small public events and various strikes... We should have a MAJOR Taken versus whatever battle somewhere potentially. In Destiny 1? Those public events were so challenging it was worth hanging around and seeing how well one could solo them. A battle with them? Bring out those big guns. Tank versus Taken Goliath, ect.? I'd love to jump into something like that. - Strikes need a spot outside the playlist. - Subclass progression needs to be better thought out in my opinion. It's great to go back into those routes in the back end of the darkness forest, but it was a HECK of a lot more meaningful when we went to Shrine on Mercury... to get our hammers... or The Black Garden's outer pathways... to receive our bows... and Clovis Bray... to tap the lightning and channel it within... Even when you put that in words it's a lot more meaningful then going back to face the Taken and various enemies on a lake. - Crucible gametypes need to include 3v3, FFA, and 6v6 IDEALLY. Put a poll out from a Bungie account if you want to see which ones which should or could be inputted first. 4v4 is good, but it isn't going to work for long. - Trials of the Nine is not something I'm particularly fond of. I played the original Trials of Osiris quite a few times (none more then during the Thorn meta), but I also know there's competitive merit in it currently. My suggestion is make it so there is no lore hidden behind winning it nor should there ever be. It's one thing to allow another social space... it is quite another when players like myself would willingly run 10 tickets in one weekend to simply be allowed passage for a lore run at Osiris. But we also have that DLC coming, so we'll see I guess. - No being able to go back and see post-game stats. That was a giant let down. - Medals in crucible are less and less important... not nearly as much fun without those. - Melee combat in crucible is absolutely pathetic. Watched a warlock punch me four times and I to him three times which didn't kill him even though I was rocking the additional arc melee on hit. Sorry, but titans should have more powerful punches then hitting someone three times and they haven't died yet. Same to any class is the overall point. Two hits. No more. The Weird - So many glitches surrounding the armor drop system. I can somehow get the more powerful guns and the mods for those, same as legendary boots with the stats I want to have or diversified enough... but getting boot mods? Well those are just nowhere to be found apparently. - Certain nodes, beacon points, and investigate items are unable to be used except for a single point which is much smaller then the actual area. I'm sure more will come to me later, but for now? This is a good start. Feel free to comment to your hearts content on what you agree, disagree, or think should be here.

 • Here's some of the things I find bad with the game 1. Reused weapon designs (It boggles my mind with employee numbers over the 500 mark that weapon designs are reused from Common to Legendary. For instance the currently very rare Dead Orbit hand canon looks exactly the same as the Old Fashioned, there are more examples of this as well) 2. Reused Strikes for quests etc (The 300 Power lever Arms Dealer Strike that you have to do for the Raid Exotic, the Strike for that Exotic should be a unique Strike not a reused one, another example of reusing content by Bungie. This won't be the last time this happens in D2 you can bet on that) 3. Enemy AI (Completely unintelligent and totally predictable after encountering fight instances after the 1st time) 4. Crucible (Is currently unrewarding to play, you get 1 Token for a win and 1 Token for a loss. This needs addressing to 3 Tokens for a win and 1 for a loss. Drops could use a boost too as Public events are far more rewarding and take less time to complete. I'd aslo like to see you awarded 1 Crucible rank up token per Trials match, you currently get none) 5. Xur (It's only been 1 week sure but I'd like to see Xur offer unique Exotic Emotes, Shaders and Sparrows every week. I currently have 700+ Legendary Shards with no where other than infusion to spend them on. And Bungie, TAKE HIS LOCATION OFF THE MAP) 6. Rumble (For the love of Cayde Bungie where the -blam!- is Rumble or 6v6 or Rift, this should really go in the Crucible point above but come on, we want more PVP modes to cater for all types of players)
