Stopped playing D1 due to the networking issues presented by P2P matching (PvE & PvP), but I have done everything that "Troubleshooting" has directed me to. 1. I use FiOS- one all-in one router, connected to a simple PoE switch, ethernet throughout my house, professionally installed. In other words, i connect with high quality via ethernet. Verizon assures me i have 150 Mbps both up and down. Far more bandwidth than I should need for this game. Via the FiOS Actiontec router, I have assigned my PS4 (OG) a static IP address (all IPs are reserved on my network), and that IP is assigned to a virtual DMZ - ALL ports are open to this device. Still, when I test my connection to PSN, my PS4 indicates a NAT2 connection. I don't understand. I have had a delayed logon to Destiny 2 with a warning indicating that I have NAT 3 (again, impossible) during the same session. So, at the very same time that PSN indicates i have NAT 2, your servers think i have NAT 3, all the while my PS4 is on a DMZ. My PS4 is powered off prior to each gaming session. There is no cache to interfere. I live in a highly populated area in NJ, USA. I power cycle my modem and simple switch prior to gaming sessions. Still, I have the following issues: - Resources not loading (guns or character models appearing transparent and shimmering) - teleporting characters (both in PvE and PvP) - delayed or no damage to other players or NPCs (truly laughable to have people die a full second after me, or more, and I get the credit for their kill) - the above issues happen *more frequently* than in D1, even though my networking setup is virtually the same as the past three years. PvP is nearly unplayable in Competitive mode. It feels like the first week of Trials - I am literally being killed around corners and the damage I do lags far behind the engagement, more or less guaranteeing that my opponent wins each engagement. I've frequently been insta-killed by high RoF weapons (MIDA, ARs). MIDA is good, but it does not kill in two shots. Video coming as soon as I can manage it. I have to transfer captures from my PS4 and edit them. Please help me get this straight. I want to enjoy this game, but the network connections are destroying it for me, and I've run out of options with your Troubleshooting Tips.
