In my experience, I've encountered a number of scummy players from the UK. Generally this all came from the type of players who have excelled at the game far more than others. I suppose it's a trade-off, that when you're "good" at something you don't have to be a pleasant person to have a conversation with. Naturally, the same kind of behavior happens with players around the world. Usually the "best of the best" aren't always the nicest people. Having been among those ranks in Destiny, I can understand that side of the table and why you'd need to reject someone from a fireteam (for example). Although, I can understand the other side too in the miles of players bound to let you down over Destiny's course.

 • Agreed. I've found an abundance of turd lords from every corner of the world, and they're usually pretty good at whatever game. The benefit of JPN players is I usually don't understand what they're talking about.

 • Same here... this one person from U.K I played with would shout at people if something got messed up... and not just like the team, he'd just call out a random person in the team and start bashing on them even if they had no role in the mistake whatsoever. In the maze on KF, we were trying to get the chest, and it didn't work the first 3 times after he told us the supposed order, so he started shouting at me to stop screwing it up. So I gladly let him take my spot at the plate... it didn't work either. Suddenly he found out he's been spewing the wrong order. But it was still my fault according to him. He proceeded to boot me after that because I apparently didn't know how to do the raid. Apparently I didn't know what I was doing after having acquired all the emblems, both of the shaders, and being max light at the time.

 • I have had the same experience from a bunch of "pro" players for the Crotas end raid. (Americans though) they were all friends. I didn't know what i was doing but one of THEM would die everytime. after we failed five times on the last part, I got a message saying I was "-blam!-ing terrible" me thinks one of them was saying it was me that kept activating the oversoul :/ (before change) so I looked up how to solo it. solo'd it, and sent them a msg. :p

 • At one point I was three manning Crota with two buddies of mine and one of them was persistent on running sword... which was totally fine by me. While he wasn't experienced as I was with the sword, from what I had heard (had never raised with him prior) he was good at the sword. We had gone another 8 attempts and still no success. He said that we were always either shooting too early or too late or that it bugged out or something. I asked if I could possibly run sword... and he just said no and that he was the better sword runner... And at the time I had only soloed it a number of times. These guys were also the same people that I carried through Skolas so they could get Year 1 Moments of Triumph. When we took down the swordbearer, I rushed down and grabbed the sword before he could. Ended up beating Crota first try. And in Trials of Osiris year 1 I was trying to help them get flawless for the sake of the exotic emblem. Round 1 I got 8 kills and they were both dead majority of the time. In the end I had around 11 more eliminations than both of them combined. They ended up blaming me for our losses... and it wasn't like I was supposed to be carrying them or anything. They said they could carry their own weight.
I think Ive done enough ranting now
• This person just sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's been over a year since I last did the chest puzzle in King's Fall myself. From what I remember though, I think the order was something along the lines of 4123. That was the hidden switch in the far back behind the rocks, then the one at the beginning on the left, then the one to the immediate right, and finally the one up top. The only reason I remember this is because I looked up the order one time one time in Year 2 while playing the raid with a friend. This particular raid I've beaten over 100 times, having gotten through it (or attempted to finish it) with multitudes of faulty teammates. Having mastered every single aspect, it was often a disappointment when it came to players not knowing their stuff on hard mode... oftentimes their excuse being "I haven't done this raid in awhile." If it's been awhile go back to normal mode, relearn the steps, and then attempt the hard mode so people don't have to deal with your crap.
