There are also a bunch of quests right now for exotics that require dumb stuff like " kill fallen in EDZ while in the air"...or "kill powerful enemies with Drang"...
The last thing you want is for your fireteam or clan to see you dying over and over firing at a huge servitor for 5 minutes straight with a tiny sidearm.

heck, I didn't even want other random Guardians who I don't even know them, seeing me jumping like a fool all over the ed-zone 50+ times in a row (and before I even knew about that quest, seeing others doing that made me "what the HUH?!" so confused...) Drang, wasn't too bad just take out weakened majors/ultras at public events (although I always wondered if simply getting shots-on was sufficient? I tried to make sure to get the kill each time, but I still wonder if assist would have been enough...)

Yeah,assists are enough. Those three shielding servitors don't count though. It took me three hours straight in Nessus to find enough powerful fallen. The Mida was really quick for me though. Dawnblade keeps me in the air longer than Michael Jordan.

I'm going to try to test that this weekend. I do know that you can weaken them with a shotgun and finish them off with the drang for it to count
