That's weird because I'm always told by this forum that it's because solo players are bad at the game and can't make friends. Couple of issues with the way this forum sees things. Adding a stranger to your friendlist does not make them a friend. If that's someone's definition of friend they probably dont have any real friends. Second, in my expereince - and from having spent most of D1 raiding with LFG groups - there are way better solo players out there than clan/group associated people. My best expereinces have been with teams where everyone joined in solo or duos. Playing with clans is a total hit or miss situation. Sure, sometimes they'll be ok but even when they play well you have to listen to their inside-jibberjabber. And when they're bad they're really bad. Now you know where I stand on guided games too. It's going to be really taxing on the people joining clans for raids. Personally I'd say that Destiny drove me into becoming a solo player. Never before have I encountered an as stupid and casual playerpool. It's more or less impossible to find a decent person to play with in this game. I'm aware that there are reasonable players out there but finding them is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Another factor is that once you find someone decent to play with you better hope that they live fairly close to you - because the pisspoor netcode in this game won't allow you to have a tolerable expereince with someone across the pond - or on the other coast for that matter.

  • true. im pretty good at the game i think. both pve and pvp. (although i dont enjoy pvp) as are a lot of people out there. .. but It always seems like i get put with people who can't play or try to be a lone wolf on a mode or situation in a strike where you need teamwork. I can do teamwork. I just don't need to talk about. I can see what you're doing and fill in the gap/s. - high stakes pvp for d2 for example. I like team work. I love it. but I've only ever played 1 game, in the etirety of destiny 1 and 2. where everyone worked as damn good team. and that was yesterday on d2. - and also, on strikes, now you seem to get separated after every single strike?.. I havnt played 2 strikes in a row with the same people even though our connections were all fine.

  • And when you do find those needles in the haystack, you get to play with them once ... because you're just filling in for one of their friends who couldn't make it that day.
