Ok, see this is a common misconception. I'm not an antisocial person. I have a wife, and a daughter. I partied plenty when I was young. I played Basketball and Football in leagues and any sport that came across my radar. I still play basketball with people at least twice a week even though I am 40. I still hang out with my friends constantly. I was even the lead singer in band for three years! I'm not some nervous shut-in, and the same is true of most of the people who can relate to what I wrote. It's just when it comes to interacting with people there is this little voice that says "It's easier just to be alone. Less trouble." or "I don't want to intrude" or "I just want to think my own thoughts right now."
