The Round Earth's Days Are Numbered...

Every level of sensory experience and intuitive observation confirms that the Earth is Flat. Flat Earth Theory, no longer the backwater province of fringe conspiracy and religious dogma, is quickly moving to replace round earth belief as the prevailing paradigm of social thought. A multilayered synthesis of confirmable observation and critical inference, FET stands ready to bear the torch of knowledge that will usher human progress into the coming centuries. And it is a near certainty that ONLY FET can offer the wide ranging flexibility and intrinsic curiosity necessary to revolutions in technology, medicine, and education. Science, an antiquated and ineffective system of knowledge production, will soon fade into the obscurity of outmoded and superseded epistemic structures. It already shows the obvious signs of decay and stagnation that characterize ideas which lay claim to "progress" in a world that has moved on. Science, (and belief in the round earth with it) will disappear for the same reason VHS did: a better alternative. Flat Earth is the compelling answer to the perennial question "what works best?" Those who still champion round earth scientism cannot really be blamed: for many years science worked. It freed Western society from the yoke of religious oppression perpetuated by the then predominate (and similarly stagnant) Catholic church. It played its part in the emergence of Industrial innovation and generated new perspectives on the nature of contagion within medical practice. But like Catholicism in its day, contemporary science exercises an unchecked hegemony upon all levels of social thought and practice. People no longer understand fundamental truths about nature. They believe them. They consider cursory, Discovery channel understandings equal to certainty while scorning any intellectual framework that dares to operate outside the purview of their universalistic, methodological thinking. One need look no further than Flat Earth forums and web pages to see the hateful attitudes and vitriolic language that spews from the scientifically "enlightened", in order to grasp the over zealous nature of round earth scientism and its hold upon the religious proclivities of the Western mind. It is the disease of confirmation bias, the stubborn weed of certainty that chokes out the imaginative soul of any thought system which dares to do good for humanity. Science has done its part. And the inexorable march of human creativity presses upon the fortifications of dogmatic thought. Round earth science will not out last the century. It will probably not even outlast the next few decades... Visit https://flatearthandthought.com/ for a glimpse into the emerging movement that is Flat Earth Theory.

 • The horizon should be limitless, then. One should be able to stand on top of Mount Everest and see Los Angeles with a telescope. Or Sydney. New York. London. One should be able to see Antarctica. Hell, according to the flat earth models I've seen, the Sun should be visible from any sufficiently high position on the earth. The earth is massive -- the naturally rugged topography hides a curvature so small that the human eye can't observe it with a passing glance. But from an elevation, it's a little more obvious. How is this flat earth formed? A half-sphere with a distinctly flat surface is not a naturally appearing shape. A flat earth cannot explain many other things. Plate tectonics. How is that explained? Hurricanes that rotate in opposite directions on opposite sides of the equator -- hurricanes shouldn't even exist at all because the Coriolis force would be non-existent. Gravity. Flat earth can't explain that either, or the tiny sun and moon would be cataclysmically embedded in our planet by now, but without gravity, we wouldn't have an atmosphere. The sun. How does it produce heat? It would be far too small to initiate fusion in its core. Why does it rise and set? Flat earth models would seem to show it simply tracking across the sky and eventually fading into the distance as nighttime approaches. Eclipses. Why do those happen? Many of these have been "patched" with bandaid solutions that come apart at the slightest pricking. The entire theory is based in conspiracy. (ask me how many times I've heard the term "NAS-hole" thrown around) It has no basis in modern science and provides no reason for us to abandon modern science in its favor.
